Original vintage souvenir programme for National Aviation Day featuring a fantastic image of three planes flying down with a portrait of Sir Alan Cobham. Skilled English aviator and airline founder, Sir Alan John Cobham (1894-1973), was a pilot with the Royal Flying Corps / Royal Air Force during World War One, then a test pilot before setting up a series of aviation days consisting of a team of aircraft known as Cobham's Flying Circus that toured the UK from 1932 to 1935. Programme has many pictures and illustration of aviation theme, as well as illustrated advertisements for Burberrys ltd.(featuring Alan J. Cobham), Rolls-Royce aero engines, Rolex, etc. Fair condition, yellow tape on the spine and between cover and inside cover, creases and tears on the margin, minor staining, pages are frayed. 31 pages.
