Original vintage book Legends of the Saint Lawrence, issued by the Canadian Pacific Railway, a Canadian Class I railway incorporated in 1881, with headquarters in Calgary, Alberta. Written by Katherine Hale, features paintings by an artist Simpson, Chas. W. (1885 - 1971). Includes legends of different places along the St. Lawrence River, a river in North America: Father Point, Longueuil, Boucherville, Varennes, Vercheres, Lake Saint Pierre, Yamachiche, Pointe-du-Lac, Trois-Rivieres, Champlain, St. Pierre, Cap la Roche, Deschambault, Pointe Au Platon, St. Romuald, Sillery, Montmagny and others. Lithographed in Canada, 47 pages. Good condition, rusted staples, minor tears on the spine, minor creasing, staining.
