Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 25, 16th June 1929. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A colourful painting on the front cover depicting rowing teams competing, various advertisements on the back cover. This edition includes the stories 'On the Rack' and 'Neutral Zone' and the article 'Fire across the Bureaucracy'. List of artwork includes the modern graphic "In Hamburg Port" by D Williams; illustrations by Volkov to accompany the story 'About Chocolate'; a long feature entitled 'Across the Exhibition' by the Societies' Artists. Fair condition, some stains on the back cover, indents from hole puncher through the whole magazine, trimmed along margins. 24 pages.
