Issue #11 of USSR in Construction, dated 1933. USSR in Construction was a monthly constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Buriat-Mongolia (Buryat-Mongolia). The issue contains good examples of constructivist design and photography; the first page has a map of Lake Baikal, with photos of Barguzin, Irkutsk and Verkneudinsk next to the rivers, laid over a photograph of a train with passengers leaning out the window. The magazine concentrates on Verkneudinsk, the capital of the Buriat-Mongol Republic, as well as logging, sport, construction, the Arshan health resort, collective farms, and music and art in the republic. Poor condition, a page is torn out, pages are loose, large tear along the spine, no staples, foxing, creasing, tears and paper losses along the page edges.
