French language version of issue #7 USSR in Construction, 1937. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is dedicated to Soviet Kamchatka, and features a great variety of photos of the region. The photos focus on fisheries, agriculture and industry, with a section devoted to whaling and fur trapping. The cover design is a great photograph of the peaks of mountains emerging from clouds, taken from an aeroplane. Fair condition, staining, creasing, tears.
