Khan-Magomedov, Soviet and Russian art critic, researcher of the architecture of the Russian avant-garde and the architecture of the peoples of Dagestan. Book has detailed account of Constructivist origin, philosophy, most famous representatives and uses in different areas. Book is rich in illustrations, many photographs of works are published for the first time. Contains work of such artists: V. Mayakovsky, the most famous Soviet poet, one of the founders of Russian Futurism; A. Rodchenko, Russian artist, sculptor, photographer and graphic designer. He was one of the founders of constructivism and Russian design; V. Stepanova, Soviet avant-garde artist, representative of constructivism, designer and poet; G. Klutsis, who was a pioneering Latvian photographer and major member of the Constructivist avant-garde in the early 20th century. He is known for the Soviet revolutionary and Stalinist propaganda; Lissitzky was a Russian artist, designer, photographer, typographer, polemicist and architect. He was an important figure of the Russian avant-garde, helping develop suprematism with his mentor, Kazimir Malevich, and designing numerous exhibition displays and propaganda works for the Soviet Union.
