This book is a response to the results of the Shakhty Trial, the first important show trial in the Soviet Union, conducted in Moscow in 1928. It contains five scholarly articles as well as excerpts from the trial, including speeches. Some photographs of the trial accompany the text. Printed in a run of 13 000 copies. Fair condition, paper faded, cuts and tears along the edges, spine faded, scratches, back cover torn, stamp at the end, back cover in risk of separating (unglued from the bottom upwards almost all along the spine). 306 pages.
