Biographical pamphlet about Asta Nielsen written by Izmail Urazov, Soviet writer and journalist. Asta is Danish silent film actress who was one of the most popular leading actresses of the 1910's and one of the first international movie stars. Seventy of Nielsen's 74 films were made in Germany where she was known simply as Die Asta (The Asta). Most known movies are "Wandering Souls", "Miss Julie", "Earth Spirit" and "The Vice of Humanity". Constructivist cover made by M. Getmansky, graphic artist, illustrator and book designer who worked with many publishing houses, such as: “Krug”, “Gosizdat”, “OGIZ” and “Detgiz”. Contains photographs of Asta. Published by Kinopechat, 10 000 copies. Good condition, staining, small pen handwriting on the top left cover. 16 pages.
