Pamphlet depicts life and career of Douglas Fairbanks, American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. He was best known for his swashbuckling roles in silent films including "The Thief of Bagdad", "Robin Hood", and "The Mark of Zorro" but spent the early part of his career making comedies. He was considered as one of the biggest stars in Hollywood during the 1910's and 1920's. Constructivist cover by P. Galadzhev, Soviet cinematographer,actor and renowned artist. A bright representative of constructivism, in his work he often used photomontage. Written by Al. Abramov. Contains photographs and stills from the movies Fairbanks took part in. Published by Kinopechat, 40 000 copies. Good condition, small tear on the bottom of the spine, minor staining, cancelled library stamp on the inside cover. Several pages are slightly trimmed on the right edge. Small pen handwriting on the top left corner of the cover. 16 pages.
