Original antique magazine Strekoza / Dragonfly #21 1917, a Russian weekly magazine of humour and satire established in Saint Petersburg in 1875, published till 1908 and then from 1915 to 1918. The cover features a caricature depicting Tsar Nicholas II, and the back cover features a drawing of Russia in the form of a woman in traditional clothes defeating a nobleman with the signature Russia to the Old Regime by A. Lebedev (1830-1898), an artist and illustrator, known mainly as the author of numerous cartoons published in satirical magazines, as well as illustrations for the works of Russians writers. Includes satirical articles, stories, and poems criticizing the monarchy in pre-revolutionary Russian, illustrated with caricatures. Published by 20-j Vek, 15 pages.
