Krokodil was a satirical magazine published in the Soviet Union. It was founded in 1922, at first as the satirical supplement to the Workers' Gazette, later becoming a separate publication. Since 1934, Crocodile has been the most important official mouthpiece of politics at all levels of social and political life. The magazine published both satirical materials and illustrations of significant achievements of the USSR. Constuctivist cover made by L. Brodaty, Soviet graphic and poster artist, illustrator. This issue is dedicated to 10th anniversary of Mayakovsky's death. This issue is illustrated by various artists, such as L. Brodaty, A. Radakov, K. Eliseev, Yu. Ganf and M. Cheremnykh. Published by "Pravda" newspaper, 271 000 copies. Poor condition, tears, dust staining, creases, tears and loss of material on the spine, pencil handwriting on the back cover. 14 pages.
