This pocket-size edition is part of the English-language series published by the Foreign Languages Publishing House in Moscow, which aims at edification of the foreign, particularly American readers, about all the aspects of the Soviet reality. The book is devoted to the expedition E. Krenkel undertook to the North Pole. His essay is intermingled with shots from the expedition. The cover's design and the arrangement belong to N. Mukhin. Very good condition, the item fully preserved, light larger stain by the edges of the pages inside, a very light stamp on the back of the back cover, pencil note on the front cover. 24 pages.
