Illustrations were made by B. Kustodiev, Soviet painter, one of the founders the first professional "Employment of the Union of Artists" in St. Petersburg; and Shebuev, Grzhebin, E Lanceray, Dobuzhunsky, Hamlet, N. Pirogov, Serov, A. Yunger. Edited by S. Mitskevich, Russian revolutionary, Soviet party and statesman, historian. Published by Gosizdat, fairly small edition of 3000 copies. Fair condition. Period binding, original covers not retained. Rubbings, loss of material on margins and the spine. Publisher's stamp on the flyleaf and small pencil handwriting on the last page. Pages are in good condition. 127 pages.
