This pocket guide to the Crimea, translated from the Russian by M. N. Morav and distributed by Intourist (Soviet State Travel Bureau), talks about the region's geography and climate, land and sea, history, economy, health information, transportation arrangements, and main attractions: Sevastopol, Bakhchisarai, Balaklava, Yalta, Isar, Uchan-Su Waterfall, Tatar villages, Simeiz, Alushta, and both the coasts of the peninsula. Rather than simply describing the places, the guidebook offers organised trips. Although without illustrations, the book includes an folded map (in colour) of Crimea. Adverts for travel agencies and stores are added at the end. Excellent condition, the dust jacket with delicate tears on the edges and stains on the back, hard cover's corners delicately curved, paper faded. 216 pages.
