Issue #11 (129) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 11 March 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. Contains a full page advert showing the film poster for Eisenstein's film Oktyabr (October), designed by the Steinberg brothers. This issue focuses on the Red Army, and includes artwork and photos of the Red Army, and articles titled 'Berlin Celebrates the Red Army', and 'The Red Army House'. Also features photos of Maxim Gorky, an article about the railway, and photos of a military parade in Red Square, as well as drawings, poems, short stories, adverts and current affairs articles. Good condition, foxing, staining, minor paper loss on spine of cover.
