Issue #17 (39) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 18 September 1924. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. This issue features an article on the representative office of the USSR in Peking, photos of ruined buildings, injured children wrapped in bandages, and dead bodies captioned 'Our Account to the Predators of World Imperialism', caricatures of 'the faces of world imperialism' drawn by Deni, and photographs from China and of the International Youth Day 7 September in Moscow. Good condition, creasing and minor tears on page edges, staining. No staples - pages are loose.
