Prozhektor #17 1928

Issue #17 (135) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 22 April 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. Contains artwork and photography by V Savelev, B Efimov, A Deyneka, A Samsonov, Y Ganf, N Peterson, B Ignatovich, and Maslov. The issue features street photography of Moscow, and photos of new engineers joining the Navy, unemployed men drinking coffee in a shelter in New York, and miners in Donbass region. The issue features a great range of articles, short stories, poems, advertisements and artwork. Very good condition, foxing, staining.
