Prozhektor #20 1924

Issue #20 (42) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 31 October 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue is devoted to Lenin - the cover features a photo of a bust of Lenin and inside articles focus on his revolutionary work. An article about a German art exhibition is accompanied by reproductions of paintings by Kaethe Kollwitz, Georg Scholz, Otto Dix, and Karl Holz. Also includes an article about life in the Red Army, and photos celebrating France's decision to recognise the USSR. Poor condition, foxing, pages loose, creasing.
