Prozhektor #5 1928

Issue #5 (123) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 29 January 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. This is an interesting issue which contains drawings and cartoons in colour by B Efimov, A Deyneka, K Rotov, Kukryniksy and Y Ganf. Photos celebrate a seven-hour working day being achieved in 14 USSR textile factories, and articles discuss a variety of topics such as Ancient Svanetia, a region in Georgia, and musician Alexander Baturin. Good condition, foxing, rusted staples, staining.
