Prozhektor #7 1928

Issue #7 (125) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 12 February 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. This issue celebrates the magazine's 5th anniversary. Of particular note are self portraits by A Deyneka, Y Ganf, Deni, K Eliseyev, V Kozlinsky, K Rotov and B Efimov, and photographs of Prozhektor's photojournalists. Double page spreads are devoted to Prozhektor's best photographs and best drawings, featuring the work of A Deyneka, K Rotov, and Deni. Includes an article about Henri Deterding (1866-1939), chairman of the Royal Dutch/Shell company and enemy of the Soviet Union. Fair condition, staining, foxing, minor paper loss on back cover.
