Issue #8 (30) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 30 April 1924. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue is dedicated to Lenin with his portrait on the cover. Inside, the issue includes a short story by A Kolosov, a cartoon by Viktor Deni, one of the major agit-prop poster artists of the Bolshevist poster, and articles titled Can We Live Without Believing in God? and Amongst the Female Workers. Photos show the Nevsky shipbuilding factory, scenes from the Red Navy, and the constuction of Lenin's Mausoleum. Fair condition, foxing, staining, creasing, tears. No staples - pages are loose.
