Prozhektor № 9 (127), Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, published 26 February 1928. It was published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper Pravda in 1923-1935. The cover photo is captioned Old and New and shows men riding camels past a tram in Tashkent. This issue contains articles, short stories, poems, photos, news, cartoons and satirical drawings. Of particular note are drawings by Yuliy Ganf and Viktor Deni (1893-1946). Deni was one of the major agit-prop poster artists of the Bolshevist period, later becoming known for newspaper cartoons about foreign policy issues. Fair condition, marks on cover, staining, creasing, minor paper losses on paper edge of cover, foxing.
