The introduction places Toulouse-Lautrec's work in context, discussing the influence of his predecessors, and his impact on the future of poster design. The book also includes an analysis of the use of colour in Toulouse-Lautrec's first poster. Fair condition, browning on page edges, pencil writing on inside page, very minor staining on some page margins, damage to the spine, minor tear on back cover, paper loss on the spine, dust jacket is torn with paper losses and creasing.
