Illustrated edition dedicated to the history of Russian posters. The book is structured thematically and includes 600 selected works by Russian and Soviet artists created in the period from the 1880s to 2001 from the collections of the Russian State Library. The front cover features a famous Soviet Bolshevik propaganda poster Did you volunteer? by Dmitry Moor; the back cover features a Russian poster Life is great by Andrey Logvin from 1997, a significant poster of Russia in the period of the 1990s. Includes introduction and description of context for the posters with works by such artists as Leon Bakst, Ivan Bilibin, Valentin Serov, Vladimir Tabourine, Eugene Lanceray, Boris Kustodiev, Aleksandr Apsit, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Viktor Deni, Pavel Sokolov-Skalya, Gustav Klutsis, Alexander Rodchenko, Stenberg brothers, Aleksei Gan, Viktor Koretsky, Nina Vatolina.
