"Around the World" the oldest Russian and Soviet magazine focusing on popular science and geography, history, world culture, published since 1861. Constructivist cover by A. Vasiliev. Issue was illustrated by V. Rozhdestvensky, Russian, Soviet painter, graphic artist; I. Ets, Soviet illustrator, who illustrated and designed books for Detizdat. He was a member of the creative association of Leningrad artists “Battle Pencil”; A Vasiliev, A Mikhailova, I Ets, Muretov, V Rozhdestvensky. This issue contains stories by various authors, such as G. Shulin, Skaif, K. Kovalchuk, I Brazhnin, M. Ivanovsky, I varshavsky, A Paulin and others; as well as articles about corrosion and building of Dneprostroi. Published by "Komsomol Pravda", 200 000 copies. Fair condition, loss of material and tears on the spine and on margins, pen and pencil handwriting on the front and back cover. Staining, rubbings, cancelled library stamp on the first page of the magazine. 30 pages.
