"Around the World" the oldest Russian and Soviet magazine focusing on popular science and geography, history, world culture, published since 1861. Constructivist cover. Issue was illustrated by such artists I. Ets, Soviet illustrator, who illustrated and designed books for Detizdat. He was a member of the creative association of Leningrad artists “Battle Pencil”. As well as M. Taranov, Soviet graphic artist, teacher; Professor of Graphic Department of the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture I.E. Repin. He created many different works in terms of content and technique. Among them are lithographs, etchings, posters, drawings and watercolours. The main content of his work was book graphics. O Verejsky, Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, teacher, People's Artist of the USSR. This issue contains articles about rise of fascism in Germany, discovery of Great Northern Way, notes of masseuse by Ilya Brazhnik, wale hunting, tourism in Caucaus and others. Fair condition, loss of material and tears on the spine and on margins, pen and pencil handwriting on the front and back cover, rusty staples. Staining, rubbings. 24 pages.
