"Around the World" the oldest Russian and Soviet magazine focusing on popular science and geography, history, world culture, published since 1861. List of this issue's artwork included illustrations by A Alexandrov for the story "Boar - the master of the jungle", I Korolev for the story "Bear's crime", A Lubimov for the story "Canyon's residents". Lubimov was a Russian Soviet realist painter, graphic artist, illustrator, and art teacher, professor of Repin Institute of Arts and Vera Mukhina Higher School of Art and Industry, who lived and worked in Leningrad. He was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists and regarded as one of founder and the brightest representatives of the Leningrad school of painting, most famous for his portrait paintings and satirical drawings. Published by "Krasnaya Gazeta", 1929. Fair condition. The cover is missing. Loss of material and tears on margins, rubbings, staining.
