Bal de la Grande Ourse Russian Avant Garde

Original vintage event advertising poster for a traditional ball - the Bal de la Grande Ourse - organised by the Union of Russian Artists of Paris / Union des Artists Russes de Paris on 8 May 1925 at the Salle Bullier in Paris. Rare double sided avant-garde poster featuring illustrations depicting the Big Bear constellation of stars next to the stylised title text on one side and a lady lying down on the other side with music notes below, and the events programme including Dranem, Les Fratellini, Maria Efremov and Jean Borlin with numerous famous artists from the 1920s avant-garde scene in Paris listed. Illustrated by Mikhail Illarionov. Very good condition, double-sided, folded as issued.
