Kino-Nedelya is a magazine focusing on the world of cinema. It has a wide range of subjects from articles about plays to advertisement for upcoming movies. Profusely illustrated with constructivist typography, posters and photos from movies. The front cover depicts the still from the movie "Eye for an eye, gas for a gas". This issue contains stills from the movies "Cigarette from Mosselprom", "Janice Meredith", and "The Thief of Baghdad" where the main character is played by Douglas Fairbanks, American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. He was best known for his swashbuckling roles in silent films including, "Robin Hood", and "The Mark of Zorro" but spent the early part of his career making comedies. He was considered one of the biggest stars in Hollywood during the 1910s and 1920s. Illustrations and photomontage by K Savitsky. Published by "SEVZAPKINO-MEZHBROM". Poor condition. The cover is detached and frayed. Rubbings, staining and tears on the spine and margins.
