Original vintage constructivist magazine Ekran, issue number 13, May 1928. The ‘working newspaper’. Soviet weekly magazine on recent developments in the USSR and abroad. The front cover features a photograph of the working board of the factory newspaper Chelnok at the factory Krasnye Tekstilshhiki by A. Morozov. The issue features articles about Turksib, The Turkestan–Siberian Railway, a broad gauge railway that connects Central Asia with Siberia; the release of an unknown work by Heinrich Heine, a German poet, writer and literary critic; the construction of a railway in Kazakhstan; the collective farm Leninsky Put; an excerpt from a fantasy novel by Kalnitsky, Russian Soviet writer and publicist with illustrations by M Hrapkovsky; the fight against tuberculosis. 14 pages. Good condition, the cover is loose, browning.
