Original vintage constructivist magazine Ekran, issue number 34, December 1925. The ‘working newspaper’. Weekly magazine on recent developments in the USSR and abroad. The cover features the drawing of Chervonets bank note with gold coins, the back cover shows an advertisement for the Raduga children's literature publishing house, which was awarded a medal at the 1925 World Art and Decorative Exhibition in Paris. The issue includes articles about oil in Baku and a trip to America by the chairman of Azneft with illustrations by M. Hrapkovsky,, trust and sale of goods, 100th anniversary of art industry; photographs illustrating the news of the week, such as a chess tournament, Mayakovsky's lectures on Russian culture in America; the events of 1905; letters from Paris and Rome; film reviews and advertising accompanied by photographs and drawings. Published by Glavlit, 17 pages. Poor condition, pages are loose, tears on the cover and pages, browning, stain.
