The issue is created by curator Irina Nikiforova for the exhibition of English Lithographic Poster in the Gallery of 19th and 20th Century European and American Art, The Pushkin Museum, that reflects the development of art advertising in Europe and America, including the pioneers of graphic design in the UK. Consists of the chapters: English poster in the Pushkin Museum; Advertising and propaganda posters of the late XIX-early XX century; Art of advertising of London transport: Illustrated advertising of companies Shell and British Petroleum; biographies of artists, and descriptions of posters with bibliographic references.
