Gebrauchsgraphik was a highly respected German publication that focused on advertising art and graphic design, which was very important in publicising the work of established and up-coming artists and designers. Magazines design is by Hermann Karl Frenzel, a German graphic designer. Includes articles and examples of the works of such notable artists: Walther Klemm, a German painter, printmaker, and illustrator; Hans Pape, a German painter from Münster; Eduard Ege, a German painter, graphic artist and woodcutter; publications by Paul Winkler, a French writer, journalist, and publisher, specializing in the distribution of bandes dessinées (comics); articles about American advertising; International advertising convention, London 1924 and others with many illustrations. Published by Verlag Berlin Phönix Druck Und Verlag, 100 pages. Poor condition, the back cover is absent, tears on the spine and pages, browning.
