He made nearly 200 comedy films, both silent and "talkies", between 1914 and 1947. Most known movies are "Safety Last", "Grandma's Boy", "Why Worry?", "Girl Shy" and "The Freshman". Constructivist cover made by M. Kirnarsky, Soviet graphic artist and illustrator.
