Illustrirovannaya Gazeta is an illustrated photojournalism supplement to the Soviet newspaper Pravda. The cover shows a coloured photograph of a man sailing a yacht, with boats behind him, taken at the Leningrad Yacht Club. Inside, a great feature is devoted to the Soviet North, with photos of reindeer, icebergs, husky dogs on ice, and photos of people reading and working. The magazine also covers topics including service dogs, the fountains at Petrograd, and the Ivan Franko Theatre. Veru good condition, '38' written in pencil on front cover, minor creasing.
