Original vintage magazine Italie Voyages Monthly Tourist Review by ENIT and State Railways published in French / Revue Touristique Mensuelle de l'ENIT et des Chemins de fer de l'Etat 3rd year N. 6 April 1935 - XIII, featuring an illustration by G.F. Usellini depicting three white peace doves carrying branches of olive, silhouettes of plane, ship, cars, and Romulus and Remus and mother wolf, all set over blue background. The inside cover presents Mussolini youth among white flowers, a portrait of Benito Mussolini on the first page along with the quote - "I want Italy to be visited by as many foreign tourists as possible. They will find a very beautiful country, a people who love order and who are sincerely welcoming." The issue invites to visit various locations of Italy with articles on - Easter celebrations in Rome; The "Resurrection" celebrated in the Basilicas of Rome; The Sistine Chapel and sacred music featuring a detail of The Last Judgment by Michelangelo; Venice; Florence; with the central article on The passion of Jesus Christ in the vision of the primitives in works of Duccio da Buoninsegna, Giotto and Pierra della Francesca; with articles covering sports events in polo and tennis; Naples, Sicily, and Rome; with a railway map and major routes. Printed in Italy by the E.N.I.T. (Italian State Tourist Department). Soft paperback binding, volume consists of 36 pages. Acceptable condition, light browning on the edges of the cover, stain on the cover, one page ripped out and placed in the magazine.
