Released in 5500 copies, this bi-weekly publication celebrates the literature of the Soviet Union, reviews newly-published books, and overviews the state of the Soviet publishing industry. Numerous photographs are to be found inside alongside the articles, which in this issue touch on the newest release of Lenin's ouevre, and the life and work of Mikhail Slonimsky, among others. Great condition, tears on the edges, paper faded, some light stains, stamps on the front cover and the opening page, some pencil notes, delicate cuts on the spine. 64 pages.
