Krokodil was a satirical magazine published in the Soviet Union. It was founded in 1922, at first as the satirical supplement to the Workers' Gazette, later becoming a separate publication. Since 1934, Crocodile has been the most important official mouthpiece of politics at all levels of social and political life. The magazine published both satirical materials and illustrations of significant achievements of the USSR. Constuctivist cover made by Yu Ganf, Soviet Russian graphic artist, a People's Artist of the USSR, especially known for his satirical cartoons in the Krokodil magazine. This issue is illustrated by various artists, such as Yu. Ganf, L. Brodaty, N. Radlov, K. Rotov, M. Hrapkovsky, L. Gencha, A. Topikov. Published by "Pravda" newspaper, 300 000 copies. Poor condition, tears, dust staining, creases, tears and loss of material on the spine, pages are frayed, pencil handwriting on the back cover. 14 pages.
