"Around the World" the oldest Russian and Soviet magazine focusing on popular science and geography, history, world culture, published since 1861. Cover illustration by B Nechaev. List of this issue's artwork included illustrations by I Korolev for the story "30 Horsepower", N Kochergin for the story "Tamango". Kochergin was a Russian (Soviet) avant-garde painter, graphic artist and sculptor mainly active in Leningrad. Born near Moscow, Kochergin studied at the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry in 1908-1918. Published by "Krasnaya Gazeta", 1929. Fair condition, tears on the spine and margins, pencil handwriting on the back cover, rubbings, staining. 24 pages.
