Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 16, 10th June 1930. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. List of this issue's artwork included illustrations by V Pshenichnikov, Russian and Soviet painter. He was mainly an animal painter and was engaged in mass propaganda art. In Soviet times, his work was very popular, many of it were printed in magazines and on postcards. During the Great Patriotic War, he participated in the issue of stencil posters “TASS Windows”. The works of Pshenichnikov are in the collections of Russian museums - the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, the State Central Museum of Modern History of Russia (Museum of the Revolution), the Central Museum of the Armed Forces (Museum of the Red Army), and the Kaliningrad Art Gallery. Good condition. Slight rubbings and staining. Unbound copy from a yearly subscription volume, top edge of the magazine is cropped. Pencil handwriting on the back cover. 20 pages.
