Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon (1875-1958) was a Russian and Soviet painter, landscape master, theatre artist, art theorist. Academician of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1947), People's Artist of the USSR (1950), Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the first degree (1943). List of this issue's artwork included illustrations by R Frents. Rudolf Rudolfovich Frents was a Soviet and Russian painter, watercolourist, graphic artist, illustrator, and art teacher who lived and worked in Leningrad. He was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists and one of the founders of the Leningrad school of painting, most famous for his battle and monumental painting. Good condition. Slight rubbings.
