Biographical pamphlet about Ivan Moskvin, a Russian actor and People's Artist of the USSR. He became director of the Moscow Art Theatre in 1943. He was a student in the Moscow Philharmonic Society from 1893 to 1896. He also performed in the Yaroslavl company and the Korsh company in Moscow. Constructivist cover made by M Getmansky, a graphic artist and illustrator. Getmansky designed book covers for publishers such as Krug, Detgiz and Gosizdat. He also produced illustrations for numerous publications, namely magazines (Krasnaya Niva and Ogonek), children’s books and travel guides (such as Soviet Travel). The pamphlet contains photographs of Moskvin and stills from the movies. Written by P Krasnov. Published by Kinopechat, 15 000 copies. 14 pages. Good condition.
