Zhizneva

Biographical pamphlet about Olga Zhizneva, Soviet theatre and film actress. Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the first degree (1949). People's Artist of the RSFSR (1969). Constructivist cover made by P Galadzhev, graphic artist, designer, and actor. His work can be found in the collections of MoMA; the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles, the V-A-C Foundation, Moscow; the State Central Museum of Cinema, Moscow, and the Moscow House of Photography, where he was the subject of a solo exhibition in 2003. The pamphlet contains photographs of Zhizneva and stills from the movies. Written by P Zhatkin. Published by Kinopechat, 15 000 copies. 16 pages. Acceptable condition. Prominent water staining throughout the pamphlet. Faded ink on page 5 due to the water damage. Loss of material on the pages 5 and 113.
