Biographical pamphlet about Asta Nielsen, Danish silent film actress who was one of the most popular leading actresses of the 1910s and one of the first international movie stars. Seventy of Nielsen's 74 films were made in Germany where she was known simply as Die Asta (The Asta). Most known movies are "Wandering Souls", "Miss Julie", "Earth Spirit" and "The Vice of Humanity". Written by Izmail Urazov, a Soviet writer and journalist. Constructivist cover made by M Getmansky, graphic artist, illustrator and book designer who worked with many publishing houses, such as: “Krug”, “Gosizdat”, “OGIZ” and “Detgiz”. The pamphlet contains black and white photographs of the actress. Published by Kinopechat, 10 000 copies. Good condition, staining on the bottom left margins, creases.
