Biographical pamphlet dedicated to the life and career of Richard Dix, an American motion-picture actor who achieved popularity in both silent and sound film. His standard on-screen image was that of the rugged and stalwart hero. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his lead role in the Best Picture-winning epic "Cimarron" (1931). The pamphlet contains black and white photographs and stills from the movies. Cover design by Yakov Moiseevich Guminer (1896-1942) - Soviet painter and graphic artist. Published by Tea-Kinopechat. Acceptable condition. Rubbings, tears on the margins, dust staining on the cover. Pages are in good condition.
