Intourist brochure promoting travel to the USSR with the cover designed in Constructivist style by the Sergei Sakharov (1906-1969) and Nikolai Zhukov (1908-1973), notable Soviet artists. A large part of the Zhukov's work was devoted to the life and work of Lenin, Stalin, the Great Patriotic War. Author of dozens of posters, many of which are marked with the “Grand Prix” at the All-Union and international exhibitions of poster. After the war, the newspaper “Pravda” sent Zhukov as their correspondent to The Nuremberg trials, where the International Military Tribunal tried the Nazi war criminals (11/20/45 – 10/01/46). There he made more than 400 drawings. The brochure is filled with black and white photos illustrating the joys of travel to the USSR. Printed for Intourist in the USA by Rogers-Kellogg-Stillson Co, New York. Acceptable condition. Rubbings, tears on the spine, loss of material and creases on margins. Page 3 is detached from the binding. Water staining on the inside of the front and back covers.
