Edited by Mikhail Koltsov, Soviet Journalist, Bolshevik Revolutionary and an NKVD Agent. Frontcover montage by A Zhitomirsky. This issue's artwork includes photographs by M Kalashnikova for the article "Great Writer", illustrations by N Klimashin for the article "From the Hiking Album", illustrations by K Eliseev for the stories "Simple Story" and "Poetry Cracker". Konstantin Eliseev was a cartoonist, stage designer, costume designer, painter and graphic artist. Since the 1910s he worked in the field of magazine graphic art.
