Issue № 11, 1945 of "Ogonek", Soviet sociopolitical and literary-artistic illustrated weekly magazine, one of the oldest in Soviet history. Edited by Mikhail Koltsov, Soviet Journalist, Bolshevik Revolutionary and an NKVD Agent. Frontcover montage by A Zhitomirsky. This issue's artwork includes photographs by M Kalashnikov for the article "Great Writer", illustrations by N Klimashin for the article "From the Hiking Album", illustrations by K Eliseev for the stories "Simple Story" and "Poetry Cracker". Konstantin Eliseev was a cartoonist, stage designer, costume designer, painter and graphic artist. Since the 1910s he worked in the field of magazine graphic art. Illustrations by Yu Ganf on the back cover. Published by the publishing house "Pravda". Good condition. Rubbings and dust staining on the front and back covers. Rubbings along the spine and margins.
