Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue № 24, 1931. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover. This issue's artwork includes illustrations by Yu Pimenov, Sokolov-Skalya, Deyneka, M Cheremnyh and K Eliseev. Konstantin Eliseev was a cartoonist, stage designer, costume designer, painter and graphic artist. Since the 1910s he worked in the field of magazine graphic art. In 1945 Eliseev has conferred the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR (Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic) for his services in the field of Soviet art satire. Works by Konstantin Eliseev are in many museum and private collections. This issue's articles include "Ant-14" by V Zarzar, "Engineering" by L Slavin, "Art on the Anti-Imperialist Front" by L Kassil and other articles. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK". Good condition. Rubbings, dust staining.
