Constructivist magazine Ekran, issue number 12, 1927. The ‘working newspaper’. Weekly magazine on recent developments in the USSR and abroad. A photograph by N Skryabin on the front cover. This issue's articles: "Sculptor Shadra" by G Lyfman, "150000 Hours" by S Romanov. Photos by S Ivanov for the article "Miracles Chamber". Illustrations by A Brey for the story "Indigo". Andrey Brey was a Soviet artist, graphic artist and illustrator, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He worked in the field of an easel and book graphics; was engaged in lithography and linocut. Andrey Brey worked in the magazines such as Pioneer (since 1927), Murzilka (since 1927), Ekran (the end of the 1920s), and Funny Pictures (since 1956). His artwork is presented in many museum collections, among them - the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum, Museum of L.N. Tolstoy (Moscow) and others. Good condition, some rubbings and staining. Missing material on page 13. Rusty staples. 14 pages.
