"Motor" was a popular technical monthly magazine on the latest information on technology, economics and sports in the USSR and abroad. It was described by its creators as an "Automobile, motorcycle, and bicycle journal". This issue's artwork includes an illustration entitled "Leipzig Fair Committee" by S Baus. Simon Baus was an American Impressionist from Indianapolis. Although Baus is best known for his portraiture, he was a significant contributor to the Indianapolis City Hospital project. Baus was a member of the Irvington Group and won numerous awards during his career. This issue's articles include " Bus Communication in Sverdlovsk" by K Shabashov, "Gas Truck Test" by N Vetchinkin, "Car Parts Encryption as a New American Industry" by G Andreev, "Motorcycle "Indian" Trial Results" by I Uspensky.
